Gilles Brisebois, CEO
Gilles founded LA Group in 2000 after becoming one of the largest custom home builders in Ontario. His achievements before founding LA Group included award winning projects and multi-unit residential land developments such as building over 1,200 homes and constructing around 500 rental conversions that revitalized an Ottawa neighborhood to meet the City’s need for residential housing.
The expertise, dedication and commitment to excellence have garnered Gilles many industry awards at the local and provincial levels. He has achieved awards for projects such as Brownstones on the Canal, luxury town homes in one of Ottawa’s prestigious neighborhoods; the Ottawa-Carleton Home Builders’ Association (OCHBA) Marketing award; and heritage awards at the provincial level for Sam Jakes Inn in Merrickville, Ontario.
Gilles’ extensive experience, garnered from building single custom homes to managing multi-unit residential land development projects, has enabled him to provide insight and guidance into the planning and servicing of diverse and specialized projects. Under his leadership, the LA Group team handles all aspects of the construction and development process from the idea to the design, from the construction to the hand over, and beyond.
LA Group has grown rapidly. Today, with its team of dedicated and highly skilled professionals, LA Group is a leader in the real estate development industry. Working with investors and developers, LA Group projects range from building custom homes to remodeling historical buildings, from building a 400-home community to developing an 1,100-home residential project.
Gilles also applies his in-depth knowledge of product development, sales and customer service on the boards of advisors in the information technology, communications and marketing industries.
Gilles Brisebois, LA Group founder, draws on almost 30 years of experience in the construction industry as a designer, developer and builder. He has been involved in almost every aspect of multi-unit residential land development and custom built homes.
